Registering with MSH means you're getting much more than advertising space.
As the only official source of private sector accommodation for students in Greater Manchester, we are committed to offering support and information to landlords and tenants alike.
As a landlord registered with MSH, you can expect high profile advertising, advice and support and to be kept informed about changes in the law.
We are owned and managed by:
- The University of Manchester
- Manchester Metropolitan University
We have service level agreements with:
- Salford Students' Union
- Royal Northern College of Music
- City College Manchester
- Manchester College of Arts and Technology (MANCAT)
All of these institutions have an exclusive arrangement with Manchester Student Homes to provide access to our quality private sector accommodation database and services.
Manchester Student Homes advertises properties, rooms and private halls of residence on our website and on display boards in our office, situated on the University of Manchester's South Campus. Our services are publicised to over 110,000 students, who search our online database of all advertised properties and visit our office - open throughout every working day - to browse the display boards. Interested students will contact you, using the contact details you provide.
We can offer housing advice to our registered landlords and can help you manage any disputes with your tenants, including advice and mediation if needed. Our office is open throughout the working week and every member of the team is given training on common housing issues. For complex or ongoing problems, our experienced Housing Officer is here to help.
